Job Purpose:
Sales Analyst responsibilities include reviewing market trends and other sales figures to help our sales team understand the market and provide more recommendations to our potential clients.
Accountabilities:
- Collect data from sales reports for analysis
- Develop methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
- Study past sales data to determine trends in productivity
- Use sales prediction software to determine future trends
- Create sales evaluation reports based on collected data
- To ensure encoding, maintaining and managing information database effectively to enable generation of relevant business information and analysis on a routine as well as on ad hoc basis.
- To assist in Regional Manager’s routine administrative requirements.
- To assist in monthly sales forecasting through appropriate analysis of budget, past trends and historical data.
- To assist sales operations team in providing relevant information and analysis and facilitate its daily requirements.
- To monitor sales & distribution operations key indicators on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and provide early signals for necessary course correction.
- To prepare analysis, reports and presentation for business review as and when required by regional management.
- To coordinate with other departments within the region office and with all outside locations on behalf of the Regional Manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a sales analysis or related role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and sales forecasting.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
