Job Role: The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the hotel, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. This role will work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with the hotel’s overall goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, offering strategic insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local tax and financial regulations, particularly those related to the UAE.
- Monitor financial performance, identify areas for cost control, and optimize revenue.
- Manage cash flow, reconciliations, and internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
- Supervise the finance team and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or Master’s in Finance is advantageous).
- Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience in a 4-star or higher hotel, preferably within an international or regional brand in the UAE.
- High proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
