We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Accountant to support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day bookkeeping activities of the Finance department, ensuring the accuracy of the financial reports, and to support with the month-end processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts Receivables and invoicing to FTA standards in the UAE.
- Month End Balance Sheet reconciliation across multiple entities.
- Perform Bank account reconciliation with multiple currencies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for UK entity.
- Compute monthly client reports to support invoicing.
- Assist with Internal & External Audit.
- VAT report preparation to FTA standards.
- Support other finance team members as and when required.
- Ensure that financial records meet with company standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping: accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
- Experience with UAE VAT a must.
- Agency experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent Excel skills
- High degree of accuracy.
- Superb time management.
- Experience with Xero & Synergist a bonus.
- Proficiency with commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, Sage.
